LES Choral Society
This large body of singers comprises pupils, teachers, parents and friends of the Loughborough Endowed Schools. Choral Society meets on Thursday evenings at various points throughout the year presenting its main choral work in March, sometimes with smaller, less formal performances in the summer and winter terms.
The Director welcomes anyone who enjoys singing, is able to commit to the majority of rehearsals, and is willing to learn their part! We attract a large number of parents and staff to this venture so we can present a choir well into three figures.

Friends of the Music School
The LES Music School is proud to have our very own Friends of the Music School (FOMS), which are a group of parents, staff and individuals with an interest in music. The Friends run their own events to raise money for the Music School to purchase new instruments, update equipment, amongst many things! The last event, Travelling by Tuba, was a runaway success in February 2010 and will hope to repeat this in the coming months.
The Friends are a valuable part of the Music School assisting with running open weeks, parents evenings and helping to provide refreshments and setting up for concerts and events. One of the biggest events of the year, Al Fresco, has considerable input by the Friends.
We always need more volunteers so if you can spare some time, we would love for you to get involved!
